Does it handle it well? What do you think? John, it sounds to me as if the motherboard has a failure in the usb controller bad board. I have RMA’d the board and the same issues are happening.. If it’s the last, that seldom works good. Windows installation – will not last a motherboard change, as that is the main link of communication; sometimes entering SafeMode and Device Manager and remove all USB ports and controllers there – usually towards the end of the list of devices.

He is not talking about the board in his User CP, but the board he posted. So I finally upgraded my gaming comp. The lowest-priced item that has been usg to working order by the manufacturer ‘manufacturer refurbished condition’ or an eBay seller or a third party not approved by the manufacturer ‘seller refurbished condition’.

If it works, double check drivers, if not I was considering mounting a hot-swap device in my case when I thought it would be even easier to use mis boot able USB.
I considered a dual boot, but don’t really want to do that.

I have trouble buying that, sorry. This item may or may not be in original packaging. Joined Mar 18, Messages 0. So I went and disabled the onboard USB function on my board and now they are working.

Great motherboard, the sound quality is excellent. It seems to me to need RMA. I have RMA’d the board and the same issues are happening. I get the error message below, I have also updated drivers, chipset, even had the original RMA’d I tried all the classic fixes. Either it is the USB thing itself, a poor mis old Windows installation, or a card reader messing things up. I’m having a similar problem.

Athlon II x4 installed and it is great. Not saying it is the cause, but try gaming, see if no other stuff happens.
