Thank you so much! I doubt it has anything to do with win 7, i’ve it install on both of my rig and both is detected without the aid of any drivers CD. I mentioned this above, but it’s worth repeating: But when I disconnect it, I can copy large files and do back-ups with no issue. But if this is a solution, maybe a temporary fix would be to recompile the Vista x64 SP2 drivers with the Win 7 RTM signature so that it can be loaded in without issues and driver signature problems. And if you search this forum you will find plenty of people with USB problems. Any help in getting this working is appreciated.

At least most of the vistta. A little digging I noticed my printer was on a USB controller that shared an interrupt with my video Nvidia. With the truncatmemory workaround I’m up and stable while printer.
